Department of Community Medicine
 
Introduction
 

Community Medicine is a branch of medicine that is concerned with the health of the communities at large. Functions of the department include teaching training, development of communities, and integration with other government and non-government sectors. The vision of the department is to get accreditation for post-graduate studies in public health. The department has potential of running short courses on almost all areas of public health.
Prof. Shaheena Manzoor (MBBS, DPH, MCPS, FCPS, Dip. In Women Studies) is a graduate of 74 from Fatima Jinnah Medical College. She is ex-Dean Institute of Public Health and Ex-Principal Executive Officer of Fatima Jinnah Medical College/ Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. She has represented Pakistan at different forums and has numerous books and research articles to her credit.
Dr. Kamran Khalid Butt is working as Asstt. Prof.
